Job DescriptionJob Description Position Overview Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Staff Accountant to join their growing finance team. This role is responsible for supporting day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and contributing to process improvements. The ideal candidate is hands-on, analytical, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements Manage general ledger activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations Oversee month-end and year-end close processes to ensure timely and accurate reporting Analyze financial data and provide insights to support business decisions Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes Maintain compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies Support external audits and coordinate with auditors as needed Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices Collaborate cross-functionally with operations and leadership teams Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 3-5+ years of progressive accounting experience Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting Experience with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, or similar) Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Benefits Competitive salary and performance-based bonus opportunities Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with company match Generous paid time off and holidays Professional development and continuing education support Career growth opportunities within a dynamic organization Employee wellness programs and team-focused culture #GHJSS #LI-SL1 We may use artificial intelligence (AI) tools to support parts of the hiring process, such as reviewing applications, analyzing resumes, or assessing responses.
