SENIOR ACCOUNTANT

Eadie and Payne ("EP") is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our team. EP serves a diverse client base across multiple industries, providing team members with broad exposure to accounting, bookkeeping, and client service opportunities in a collaborative professional environment. Position Summary The Senior Accountant is responsible for providing full-cycle bookkeeping and accounting support to multiple clients across various industries. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with team members and partners to deliver high-quality client service.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Assist clients with monthly, quarterly, and annual full-cycle bookkeeping and accounting needs, including account reconciliations, general ledger analysis, and adjusting journal entries. Maintain accurate financial records and perform day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting functions. Prepare quarterly and annual payroll tax filings. Prepare and file monthly and quarterly sales tax returns. Prepare annual Forms 1099 and related filings. Manage bookkeeping responsibilities for multiple clients across a variety of industries. Communicate with clients regarding accounting issues, missing information, and deadlines. Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.

QUALIFICATIONS

Prior experience in an accounting firm preferred Minimum of 5 years of full-charge accounting experience Proficient in QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Desktop Knowledge of payroll tax and sales tax Proficient in computer programs including MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Ability to work independently and effectively prioritize workload Well-organized and detail-oriented Excellent customer service and communication skills
