Full Job Description Senior Accountant Location:
Riverside, CA Compensation:
$35-$45 per hour, depending on experience

Full-Time Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join a growing organization in Riverside. This position will play a key role in supporting the accounting department through month-end close, financial reporting, account reconciliations, and general ledger management. The ideal candidate is a proactive accounting professional with strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on accountant looking to contribute to a collaborative team while positioning themselves for long-term growth. Responsibilities Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and account adjustments Manage month-end and year-end close activities Reconcile bank accounts, balance sheet accounts, and general ledger accounts Analyze financial statements and investigate variances Maintain and reconcile fixed asset schedules and depreciation records Prepare supporting schedules and documentation for audits Assist with financial reporting and management reporting requirements Review accounting transactions for accuracy and compliance with company policies Support accounts payable and accounts receivable activities as needed Identify process improvements to enhance efficiency and strengthen internal controls Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and special projects Collaborate with cross-functional departments to resolve accounting issues and provide financial support Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred 5+ years of progressive accounting experience Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting best practices Experience with month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and advanced formulas Experience with ERP or accounting systems Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Strong verbal and written communication skills
Pay Details:
