Do you have non-profit industry experience? We are looking for a senior accounting professional for a wonderful new job opportunity in Sacramento, CA. The ideal candidate will have at least five years of accounting experience, able to support with accounting and audit, and able to dive in and support in a fast paced environment. Responsibilities Support the CFO with daily accounting operations, including general ledger, journal entries, and month-end close Prepare and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and alignment with nonprofit reporting standards Oversee payroll processing and related reconciliations, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations Assist in the development, tracking, and monitoring of annual budgets and forecasts Coordinate and prepare schedules and documentation for annual audits and ensure timely responses to auditors Maintain internal controls and accounting procedures to ensure compliance with nonprofit regulations and best practices Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably within a nonprofit organization Strong knowledge of GAAP and nonprofit accounting principles (including fund accounting) Experience with payroll processing and related compliance requirements Proficiency in accounting systems; MIP experience strongly preferred Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to partner with leadership in a fast-paced environment If you are interested in this new job opportunity please apply now!
Pay Details:
