Job Description

Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Staff Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will support various accounting functions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with established accounting principles. This role is essential in maintaining financial records, processing transactions, and assisting with financial reporting.
Duties Key Responsibilities:
Coordinating with Shipping/Receiving and the Sales Department Accounts Payable (AP) / Accounts Receivable (AR)
Support:
Customer invoicing/billing Collections efforts, following up with customers on outstanding payments and resolving billing issues. Support processing vendor invoices, expense reports, and preparing payments.
Job Orders:
Prepare work orders and coordinate with production department
Payment Processing:
Receiving, verifying, and posting payments.
Customer Communication :
Communicating with customers regarding invoices, payments, and account inquiries.
Skills and Qualifications:
Attention to

Accurately processing financial transactions and maintaining records.
Organizational Skills:
Managing and tracking numerous invoices and payments.
Communication Skills:
Effectively communicating with customers and colleagues.
Computer Software Proficiency:
Preferably ERP system
Data Entry Skills:
Accuracy and speed in entering financial data.
Problem-Solving Skills:
Identifying and resolving payment discrepancies.
Fast learner:
adaptable to fast-paced environments
