Vaxcyte's Summer Internship program offers students with an opportunity to gain valuable work experience that complements their college curriculum with relevant hands-on work that can shape their future career pathing and interests. As an Accounting Intern for Vaxcyte, you will work on a project as outlined below: Provide support for financial analysis and accounting activities, including variance analysis, manufacturing accounting, SOX compliance, and preparation of financial statements. Conduct research and benchmarking on finance and accounting tools, including AI-enabled solutions, to identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and enhanced reporting. Assist with maintaining and updating financial documentation, including process flows, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), training materials, and internal controls documentation. Leverage AI an advanced Excel tools to improve data analysis, reporting efficiency, and accuracy while adhering to company policies and controls. The Intern will learn and practice: Core accounting and finance processes in a regulated environment to enhance their skills and knowledge. Apply AI tools responsibly to improve efficiency and decision-making. Effective communication of financial insights to stakeholders across the organization.Program Details:
The Internship will begin in June and will be around 10 weeks (8 hours per day) in duration at our San Carlos, California location.Requirements:
Must be pursuing a Bachelor's Degree (enrolled student with at least 1 year at university completed) with a focus on Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field. Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Strong attention to detail and work quality. Demonstrates collaboration and teamwork. Enthusiastic-Shows curiosity and is eager to learn. Dedicated.Reports to:

The expected salary range for this position is $23-$26 per hour for undergraduate students. Actual pay will be determined based on year of university/college completed. The Summer Internship position will not be eligible for benefits. Relocation and housing stipend will not be offered. We are an equal opportunity employer.
