Job Description

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Cost Accountant to support cost analysis, inventory accounting, and financial reporting activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze standard and actual costs and investigate variancesPrepare and maintain cost accounting reports and supporting schedulesMonitor inventory transactions and reconcile inventory accountsSupport month-end close processes related to cost accountingAssist with budgeting, forecasting, and margin analysisReview manufacturing or operational costs to identify trends and cost-saving opportunitiesMaintain accurate product costing data and support pricing analysisCollaborate with operations and finance teams to improve cost controls and reporting
