This role is ideal for a recent Accounting or Finance graduate, or someone with 1-2 years of experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, or general accounting support. About the Opportunity The Accounting Clerk / Accounting Specialist will support the accounting team with day-to-day transactional accounting, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, data entry, vendor support, and general administrative accounting tasks. The right person does not need to know everything on day one. What matters most is accuracy, curiosity, follow-through, and a willingness to be trained. Key Responsibilities Assist with accounts payable processing, including invoice entry, coding, approvals, and vendor follow-up Support accounts receivable functions, including billing support, payment posting, and account research Help maintain accurate accounting records and documentation Assist with reconciliations, data entry, and account clean-up projects Communicate professionally with vendors, internal team members, and other departments Support month-end close activities as needed Help identify missing information, discrepancies, or process issues Provide general administrative support to the accounting and finance team What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field preferred Open to a recent graduate with strong internship, academic, or work experience 1-2 years of AP, AR, or general accounting experience is a plus Strong attention to detail and accuracy Highly trainable, dependable, and organized Comfortable working with numbers, spreadsheets, and accounting systems Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude Ability to ask good questions, take direction, and follow through Why This Role Stands Out This is a great entry point into a growing healthcare organization where you can learn real accounting processes, gain exposure to both AP and AR, and build a long-term career foundation.
