Senior Cost Accountant $85k-$95k Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Senior Cost Accountant with a strong background in manufacturing cost accounting and inventory analysis. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5+ years of experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment and possess excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills. This role requires a detail-oriented professional who can translate data into strategic insights, while driving process improvements. Key Responsibilities Assist in developing standard costs, including labor and overhead rates Analyze product and project costs, including material variances and labor efficiencies Perform physical inventory reconciliations Support month-end close activities, including journal entries Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis Identify and implement process improvements and internal controls Prepare financial reports, including income statements and balance sheets Support internal and external audits Participate in special projects and additional accounting duties as assigned Maintain consistent and reliable attendance Qualifications & Requirements 5-10+ years of cost accounting and analysis experience, preferably in manufacturing Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.) Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred Valid driver's license and clean driving record Work Environment Fast-paced accounting environment requiring attention to detail and multitasking Additional Information This role does not include direct supervisory responsibilities May involve working across multiple locations and departments as needed Responsibilities may extend beyond primary job scope based on business needs Equal Opportunity Statement The organization is committed to providing an inclusive and respectful workplace.
