Job Description

Our client in the education industry is seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to support day-to-day accounting operations, financial reporting, and reconciliations.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare journal entries and maintain accurate general ledger activityReconcile bank statements, balance sheet accounts, and subledgersAssist with month-end and year-end close processesSupport accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll-related accounting activitiesPrepare financial reports, schedules, and supporting documentationAnalyze account activity and help resolve discrepanciesAssist with budget tracking, audit preparation, and compliance reportingCollaborate with internal departments to ensure accurate financial data and reporting
