We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk for Construction to join our team. In this vital role, you will manage the company's construction-related accounts payable processes, ensuring accurate and timely subcontractor payments while maintaining compliance with financial policies and standards. Your expertise will support our ongoing projects by providing precise data entry, account reconciliation, and adherence to accounting best practices. Duties Process all subcontractor billings in Sage 100 and Procore, ensuring compliance with company policies Verify line item details in the

forms against contracts and ensure proper authorization before payment Obtain correct waivers/releases from preliened subcontractors and their vendors/suppliers Receive and properly process preliminary lien notices Run a payable and committed cost report for vendors Receive the subcontractor checks and process for mailing. Follow up with subcontractors and vendors/suppliers for their unconditional releases Audit subcontractor folders for errors or missing documents, and update Sage accordingly Maintain meticulous records of all payable transactions, ensuring data entry accuracy and compliance Join our team to contribute your expertise in a fast-paced construction environment where your attention to detail makes a real impact.
