Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant with manufacturing experience to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in general accounting, month-end close, account reconciliations, and inventory-related accounting, along with hands-on experience using ERP systems similar to SAP, Oracle NetSuite, and Concur . Based on general knowledge. Key Responsibilities Prepare and maintain journal entries, general ledger reconciliations, and month-end close activities. Based on general knowledge. Support cost accounting and inventory accounting functions within a manufacturing environment. Based on general knowledge. Reconcile inventory, prepaid expenses, accruals, fixed assets, and other balance sheet accounts. Based on general knowledge. Assist with financial statement preparation and variance analysis. Based on general knowledge. Partner with operations and plant teams to ensure accuracy of production, inventory, and cost data. Based on general knowledge. Monitor and maintain internal accounting controls and support audit requests. Based on general knowledge. Process and review expense reports, invoices, and related accounting transactions. Based on general knowledge. Help improve accounting workflows and system efficiencies within the ERP environment. Based on general knowledge. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Based on general knowledge. 3+ years of accounting experience, with experience in a manufacturing environment preferred. Based on general knowledge. Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and financial reporting. Based on general knowledge. Experience with ERP systems similar to SAP, Oracle NetSuite, and Concur required. Based on general knowledge. Experience with inventory, cost accounting, and manufacturing transactions preferred. Based on general knowledge. Proficiency in Excel and strong analytical skills. Based on general knowledge. Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and communication abilities. Based on general knowledge. Preferred Skills Familiarity with SAP, Oracle NetSuite, Concur, Microsoft D365, Workday, QuickBooks, or similar systems . Understanding of internal accounting controls, financial analysis, cash management, billing processes, and data/business analytics . Strong critical thinking, adaptability, creativity, and communication skills .
