Job Description:
A high-growth, SF-based tech company is bringing in a GL Accountant to help drive close and strengthen balance sheet integrity. This is a 2-3 month contract with potential to extend, hybrid in San Francisco. This team needs someone who can step in quickly, own their work, and keep pace in a fast-moving environment. What you'll be doing: Own components of month-end close Prepare and post journal entries Perform account reconciliations and investigate variances Deliver flux analysis with clear explanations Support specialized areas: Equity accounting, Stock-based compensation (SBC), Sales commissions, Payroll reconciliations Ensure alignment with ASC 340 What stands out: Having NetSuite experience Prior experience in tech is strongly preferred Strong attention to detail with the ability to dig into reconciliations Experience supporting complex areas like SBC, equity, and commissions Comfortable navigating ambiguity and rolling up sleeves Why this role: Immediate impact.
