Full-Time | Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30

ASAP A well-established company in the consumer goods/manufacturing/distribution space is seeking an Accounting Specialist to join its accounting and finance team on a temp-to-hire basis. This role reports directly to the Director of Accounting & Finance and supports full-cycle accounting operations. Key Responsibilities Manage full-cycle accounting functions including AP, AR, and General Ledger Prepare and post journal entries and maintain supporting documentation Perform monthly bank, credit card, and account reconciliations Assist with month-end and year-end close Generate monthly financial reports for leadership Support payroll processing and related reporting Maintain and reconcile inventory-related accounting Prepare and file sales tax and regulatory reports (multi-state) Assist with audits , budgets, and expense tracking Ensure compliance with GAAP , internal controls, and company policies Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and efficiency Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations and Supply Chain Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting (required) Strong knowledge of GAAP and general accounting principles Experience with large ERP systems Advanced Excel skills required Background in consumer goods, manufacturing, or distribution preferred Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills High level of integrity with ability to handle confidential information Professional written and verbal communication skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment In-office availability required All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, national origin, age, ancestry, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, disability, medical condition, genetic information, pregnancy, or military or veteran status.
