Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Senior Tax Accountant on the Partnership Track to join our growing boutique tax and accounting team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead complex tax projects, provide strategic tax planning, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. As a key contributor, you will work closely with managing partner, and external advisors to optimize tax positions while maintaining rigorous accuracy and adherence to industry best practices. The ideal candidate is energetic, proactive, and possesses a strong foundation in tax accounting, and regulatory reporting.
Duties and Experience requirements:
Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and estates and trusts. Lead tax planning initiatives related to all client requests. Conduct detailed analysis of financial statements, balance sheet reconciliations, and general ledger accounting to identify tax implications. Extensive experience in tax accounting with a focus on individual and partnership/corporate taxation. Proficiency in accounting and Lacerte Tax Software, QuickBooks, Adobe and other financial software tools. Strong understanding of GAAP, regulatory reporting standards, double entry bookkeeping, and technical accounting principles. Demonstrated analysis skills including account reconciliation, financial analysis, budgeting, and financial statement preparation. Excellent interpersonal skills a must.
