Grimmway Produce Group is seeking a Staff Accountant

• General Accounting responsible to support the General Accounting department by assisting with daily and monthly accounting tasks, ensuring accurate financial records.

This role will play a key part in maintaining financial accuracy and contributing to the overall success of the organization. What You Will Need:

Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field. 1-3 years of accounting experience (preferably in a similar industry or environment). Experience with month end reconciliations and journal entries Ensure compliance with acceptable standards (i.e., GAAP) rules, regulations systems of internal control and company policies and procedures Exposure to financial reporting and variance analysis Must be detailed oriented with excellent ability to analyze date accurately and think critically to point out and/or offer opinions for improved processes and procedures. Ability to multi-task and manage deadlines Strong Microsoft Excel and Word skills, required. Must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Must have excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Remote work not currently available for this position. Must have a valid driver's license with a clean DMV driving record. Must pass pre-placement drug/alcohol screen and background check.

What Will Set You Apart:

Proficient in accounting software (e.g., Sage, Epicor). Experience with reporting tools (e.g. Tableau, Power Bi)
