Job Description

Job DescriptionJob Description This position will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, general ledger, and cash management activities. This role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to manage multiple priorities, and effective communication with internal teams, vendors, subcontractors, and clients. The position supports accurate financial reporting, compliance with applicable regulations, and timely processing of all accounting functions Duties includes but is not limited to; Accounts Receivable Record the monthly billing and the payments. Monitor AR and follow up on collection with clients and with PMs Monitor the retention escrow accounts and funds releases. Accounts Payable Verify and review bills from subcontractors and suppliers get proper approvals from PM and process on timely manner needed Reconcile the main vendors' monthly statements and resolve any discrepancies Handle Credit Cards charges, collect back up and enter on timely manner. Generate year end 1099s accurately and on timely manner GL and Cash Management Review and Reconcile Bank St, Credit Card Statements monthly Reconcile GL accounts and Month end closing Payroll and Compliance Weekly payrolls entry and job costing for all employees accurately & on time, ensuring applying proper deduction and benefits. processing Union monthly reporting and payment dues on timely manner. Other but not limited to tasks: Perform internal billing amount affiliated entities for shared cost Assist with any payroll, workers compensation, subcontractor, and GL insurance audits.
Qualifications :
Degree in Accounting Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience Knowledgeable with ERP accounting software preferred Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with employees, co-workers and subcontractor Above average knowledge in using Microsoft Office suite Salary will be negotiated depending on job offer being extended
