Staff Accountant

Description Staff Accountant | Aerospace Industry | Torrance, CA Looking to take your accounting career to new heights? In this role, you'll play a key part in supporting financial operations, inventory accounting, and month-end close—while working alongside a collaborative team that values accuracy, efficiency, and continuous improvement.

What You'll Do:

+ Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts to ensure accurate financial reporting + Support month-end and year-end close through journal entries and financial documentation + Prepare and analyze financial statements in compliance with accounting standards and company policies + Manage inventory accounting, including cost analysis, reconciliations, and fixed asset tracking + Assist with physical inventory processes and ensure accurate inventory records + Prepare audit schedules and support external audit requests + Identify and implement process improvements to enhance accounting efficiency + Ensure compliance with internal controls and company procedures + Assist with tax-related activities, including corporate and sales tax filings + Provide financial analysis to support business decisions and strategic initiatives

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing or aerospace industries.
• Proficiency in inventory accounting and general ledger maintenance.
• Solid understanding of financial reporting standards and compliance.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting systems.
• Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and effective communication capabilities.
• Experience in tax-related processes, including corporate and sales tax, is preferred.
