Job Description
A hospitality organization is seeking a Staff Accountant to join its accounting department and support day-to-day accounting operations. This role will assist with reconciliations, journal entries, financial reporting, and various accounting projects while working alongside an experienced finance team.
This position is ideal for an accountant looking to continue building technical accounting experience within a stable and growing organization.
ResponsibilitiesGeneral AccountingPrepare journal entries and monthly account reconciliationsAssist with month-end and year-end close proceduresReconcile bank accounts, credit card accounts, and balance sheet accountsSupport accounts payable and accounts receivable activities as neededMaintain general ledger accuracy and supporting documentationReporting & ComplianceAssist with financial reporting and management reporting packagesSupport annual audits and regulatory reporting requirementsReview accounting transactions for accuracy and completenessParticipate in process improvement initiatives and special projects
