Senior Accountant (Temp-to-Hire)

Vernon, CA (Onsite)

Compensation:

$40.00-$45.00 per hour A growing apparel company based in Vernon is seeking a hands-on Senior Accountant to join their team on a temp-to-hire basis. This is a great opportunity to join a fast-paced, collaborative environment with strong leadership and continued growth. The Senior Accountant will play a key role in supporting the month-end close, maintaining the general ledger, and ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting. This individual should be detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working in a high-volume environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform full-cycle month-end close activities Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts Prepare and review journal entries and account reconciliations Analyze financial statements and variances Support financial reporting and internal management reporting Assist with inventory accounting and cost analysis (preferred) Partner with cross-functional teams including operations and AP/AR Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards Assist with audit preparation and requests

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably within manufacturing or apparel Strong knowledge of GAAP Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP, or similar preferred) Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, vlookups) Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities
