Junior Accountant

Our client in Walnut Creek is seeking an Entry-Level Accountant for a temp-to-hire opportunity. This position is well suited for someone beginning their accounting career who is looking to gain hands-on experience in a collaborative environment. The Entry-Level Accountant will support daily accounting operations, assist with reconciliations, and help maintain accurate financial records.

Key Responsibilities:

Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processingPrepare and post journal entriesReconcile bank statements and general ledger accountsAssist with month-end and year-end close activitiesMaintain accurate financial records and supporting documentationProcess invoices and expense reportsReview financial transactions for accuracy and completenessEnter and update data in accounting systemsAssist with audits and other accounting projects as needed
