Senior Staff Accountant

Description Are you an experienced accounting detail oriented looking to take the next step in your career? We are seeking a dedicated Senior Staff Accountant to join our team. In this position, you'll play a key role in maintaining financial accuracy, strengthening reporting processes, and supporting business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and maintain general ledger accounts, ensuring precise and timely reconciliations. Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Lead month-end and year-end closing activities, including necessary adjusting journal entries. Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis efforts. Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and GAAP standards. Support external audits by preparing schedules and providing required documentation. Mentor entry level accounting staff and collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues. Research and resolve complex accounting discrepancies and variances. Requirements Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. 3+ years of progressive accounting experience; public accounting a plus. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite). Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Keen attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
