This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop your accounting skills while supporting our finance team and daily office operations. You will play a vital part in maintaining accurate financial records, AR/AP, financial reporting, HR support, and other types of administrative tasks. Duties Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes using accounting SAP. This also includes AP payment runs, cash receipts, invoicing, and collections. Perform daily bank reconciliations and general ledger account reconciliations. Prepare journal entries, conduct balance sheet reconciliations, and assist with month-end closing procedures. Assist with financial reporting and prepare reporting for small entities. Support HR with payroll and new employee onboarding. Maintain accurate records of financial transactions that will be used by management and other departments in the organization. Prepare annual 1099 tax forms and submissions. Prepare state sales and use tax returns. Administration of customer portals. Handle different administrative tasks for the company, such as answering phones, sorting mail, managing office supplies, and other support needed to ensure operations runs smoothly. Assist with preparations for meetings and company events. Greeting visitors and direct them to appropriate departments. Requirements BS in Accounting required. Knowledge and use of accounting software like
SAP, SAGE, JD
Edwards, or Hyperion. SAP knowledge a plus. Knowledge of financial reporting and accounting processes. Proficiency in MS Excel, especially with pivot tables, vlookups, and data filtering. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy. Strong communication skills and collaborating across departments.
