Job Description:
A top client of ours is hiring a detail-oriented Accountant to help scale and strengthen its accounting operations. This is a great fit for someone who enjoys bringing structure and accuracy to a fast-moving organization and likes improving processes, not just maintaining them. Reporting to the Controller, you'll work hands-on across month-end close, reconciliations, journal entries, AP/AR, and audit readiness, while helping strengthen internal controls and financial processes. You'll balance day-to-day accounting work with process improvement and partner cross-functionally to support accurate reporting. What You'll Do Own assigned areas of the monthly and year-end close, including journal entries and accruals Perform bank and balance sheet reconciliations and investigate variances Process AP, manage vendor payments, and support invoicing and payroll entries Assist with audits and internal-control/SOX readiness initiatives What You'll Bring Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field 3+ years of accounting experience, including part of the month-end close Solid GAAP knowledge, advanced Excel, and ERP experience
Preferred:
Manufacturing background, SOX exposure, and Epicor ERP.
