Job Description

Senior Accountant - Lease Accounting
Castle Rock,
Senior Accountant, Lease Accounting Join a growing development firm in the Denver metro area that is seeking a Senior Accountant to manage revenue accounting across a portfolio of leasing contracts. This role will be responsible for ensuring accurate project-based billing throughout the revenue cycle in compliance with ASC 606 and ASC 842. What you'll do Manage lease accounting and project-based billing
Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and close support
Review contracts and ensure accurate revenue accounting through analysis
Support audit requests, SOX controls, and compliance requirements
Partner with teams across finance and operations What you bring 5+ years of revenue accounting experience
3+ years focused on lease accounting
Strong knowledge of ASC 606 and ASC 842
Public company or high-growth company experience preferred
Experience with MS Excel, analytical and reporting tools and ERP systems Why this role
