Job Description

Job DescriptionJob Description We're seeking a highly motivated Senior Accountant to join a growing team based in Castle Rock. This role reports directly to the Controller and plays a key role in financial reporting, analysis, and team leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
Review month-end journal entries and reconciliations Prepare complex journal entries with supporting documentation Analyze financial results and provide insights to leadership Perform bank reconciliations, cash analysis, and variance reporting Support budgeting, forecasting, and business planning initiatives Manage WIP reporting and job cost accounting functions Assist with audit preparation and external auditor requests Mentor and support accounting team members Contribute to process improvements and special projects This company is growing and offers growth opportunities in the future! 3+ years of construction accounting experience Strong knowledge of WIP reporting and job cost accounting Advanced Excel skills; Viewpoint/Spectrum a plus Collaborative mindset with demonstrated leadership ability Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
