$65,000 - $85,000 + Quarterly Bonus Opportunities Our client is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its Colorado Springs-based finance team. What you will be doing as the Senior Accountant Research and resolve accounts payable discrepancies with internal team members and vendors Process accounts receivable credits and freight claim paperwork Enter accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions using established systems and databases Monitor and analyze accounts receivable balances and support timely customer payment collections Assist with monthly reconciliations for accounts payable, accounts receivable, and other general ledger accounts Prepare monthly reconciliations for balance sheet and other financial statement accounts Support month-end close activities, including reconciliation between software systems Help maintain the general ledger and assist with monthly journal entries Support compliance with accounting policies and procedures Assist with audit preparation and year-end close by gathering requested documentation and information Help maintain fixed asset and depreciation schedules Assist with property and franchise tax reporting Apply sound business acumen, critical thinking, and strong communication in daily work Perform additional accounting and finance duties as assigned by leadership What you will need to be successful as the Senior Accountant Bachelor's degree in Accounting, or equivalent experience 3 or more years of progressive accounting experience Strong understanding of GAAP and general accounting principles Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications Experience working with accounting systems Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-through Ability to work under pressure, manage deadlines, and prioritize effectively Strong communication skills when working with internal teams, vendors, and customers Ability to thrive in a team-oriented, collaborative environment Experience with audit preparation and year-end close is a plus Manufacturing, inventory, or cost accounting experience is a plus Ability to work on-site daily in the Colorado Springs office Benefits Medical coverage with employer-paid employee-only premium and employer contribution toward dependent coverage Short-term and long-term disability Employer-paid life insurance IRA with match HSA with employer contribution Paid time off Parental leave Employee Assistance Program Equal Opportunity Employment Statement :
