Key Responsibilities:

Perform monthly bank, credit card, and general ledger reconciliations to ensure accurate financial reporting. Manage accounts payable processes, including invoice processing, vendor payments, and expense reimbursements, leveraging AP automation tools. Record and maintain financial transactions in Sage Intacct, ensuring compliance with company policies and GAAP standards. Collaborate with the accounting team to prepare financial statements, reports, and budgets as needed. Monitor and resolve discrepancies in accounts, identifying and correcting errors in a timely manner. Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes, providing support for audits as required. Optimize workflows by utilizing AP automation systems to reduce manual tasks and improve efficiency. Maintain accurate documentation and ensure proper filing of financial records for easy retrieval. Stay updated on industry best practices and software enhancements related to Sage Intacct and AP automation. Monitor receipt of W-9s and prepare 1099s to IRS and payees each year. Invoice and track Accounts Receivable. Assist with financial reconciliations and reporting for the USA Basketball Foundation. Other duties as assigned.

Desired Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred) or equivalent professional experience; minimum of 3-5 years of bookkeeping experience. Proven proficiency with Sage Intacct accounting software (preferred). Hands-on experience with AP automation tools (e.g., Bill.com, Tipalti, or similar platforms). Strong understanding of basic reconciliation processes (bank, credit card, and general ledger). Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining data accuracy. Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and other Office Suite applications. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.

Compensation and Benefits:

Salary Range:

$60,000-$75,000 Full-time exempt position located at National Headquarters in Colorado Springs, Colorado Comprehensive benefits package including retirement plan, medical, dental, life, STD (short-term disability), and LTD (long-term disability) insurance & PTO (paid time off)
