Interim AP Accountant Century Group International Inc Denver, CO Job Details Contract $30 - $45 an hour 7 hours ago Qualifications Financial close processing Bachelor's degree Closing the books Full Job Description Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Accounts Payable Accountant to assist their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting pay rate of $30.00 to $45.00 per hour.
Job Responsibilities:
Manage full cycle accounts payable by processing invoices obtaining approvals and executing payments. Review vendor invoices to ensure accuracy proper coding and timely entry into the system. Maintain vendor records and respond to inquiries to resolve payment related issues. Prepare and process payments including checks electronic transfers and other disbursement methods. Support month end close by preparing accruals reconciliations and expense analysis.
Requirements:
A Bachelor degree in accounting finance or a related field. 2+ years of experience in accounts payable or general accounting. Demonstrate strong understanding of accounts payable processes and basic accounting principles. Possess experience supporting close activities and performing account reconciliations. Manage multiple priorities with strong organization attention to detail and time management skills.
Qualifications:
Maintain accurate documentation and support audit requests with organized records and schedules. Communicate effectively with vendors and internal teams to resolve discrepancies and improve processes. Identify opportunities to enhance efficiency and streamline workflows within accounts payable operations. Use accounting systems and Excel tools effectively to support reporting and analysis.
