a { text-decoration: none; color: #464feb; } tr th, tr td { border: 1px solid #e6e6e6; } tr th { background-color: #f5f5f5; } Property Accountant (Commercial Real Estate) Position Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented Property Accountant to support the full-cycle accounting function for a portfolio of commercial properties. This role requires strong foundational accounting knowledge, the ability to work in a highly manual environment, and experience with CAM reconciliations. The ideal candidate is dependable, demonstrates career longevity, and can contribute to a system implementation initiative. Key Responsibilities Perform full-cycle accounting for a portfolio of commercial properties Prepare and post journal entries , ensuring accuracy and proper documentation Maintain general ledger and ensure proper application of debits and credits (Dr/Cr) Complete monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes Prepare CAM (Common Area Maintenance) reconciliations and tenant billings Review and analyze financial statements, identifying and resolving variances Manage a highly manual accounting process with strong attention to detail Assist with account reconciliations , including bank, balance sheet, and tenant accounts Partner with internal teams on financial reporting and operational support Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting preferred (will consider relevant experience in lieu of degree) Proven experience in property accounting , preferably in commercial real estate Strong understanding of accounting principles , including debits, credits, and journal entries Experience with CAM reconciliations required Experience working in manual or less automated environments Prior involvement in an ERP implementation , including testing and process validation Familiarity with Yardi or similar property management/accounting systems is a plus Salary 90-95K #ZRCFS #LI-BF1 #
