Position Summary Gold Crown Management Company is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Real Estate Accountant to join our team. This role is responsible for preparing monthly financial reporting, managing cash flow forecasting, reconciling accounts, and supporting accounting operations across multiple residential and commercial real estate entities. The ideal candidate is highly organized, deadline-driven, and experienced in property management accounting with the ability to manage multiple entities simultaneously. Key Responsibilities Prepare monthly financial statements, including: Income Statements Balance Sheets Statements of Cash Flows Income & Expense reports Manage weekly cash flow forecasting for multiple properties Process weekly accounts payable activities Record and document bank transactions and general ledger entries Process monthly and quarterly partner distributions Perform monthly bank reconciliations across multiple entities Manage accounts receivable functions, including monthly rent and CAM postings Conduct quarterly fixed asset reconciliations and analysis Prepare annual 1099 reporting Compile year-end accounting workpapers for tax reporting Generate ad hoc financial reports for management and external partners Support additional accounting and operational projects as needed Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Accounting required 10+ years of accounting experience Real estate, property management, commercial, or multifamily accounting experience preferred Strong understanding of general accounting principles and financial reporting Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple entities and deadlines simultaneously High level of professionalism and confidentiality Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency required Experience with the following systems is a plus: Sage 100, Yardi, Sage Intacct, Ramp Preferred Skills Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Excellent time management and communication skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment Experience with commercial and residential property accounting operations Work Location Onsite - this role is expected to work onsite and is located in downtown Denver, CO.
