Senior Cost Accountant Compensation:
Up to $130K A respected manufacturing organization is adding a Senior Cost Accountant to its finance team. This role will be heavily involved in manufacturing finance, inventory analysis, and operational support while partnering closely with plant leadership to improve processes, reporting, and overall cost visibility. The ideal candidate enjoys working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, analyzing operational data, and helping leadership make informed business decisions. Position Highlights for

Key Responsibilities of Senior Cost Accountant:
Maintain and monitor standard costing, inventory valuation, and manufacturing allocations Analyze labor, material, and overhead variances and provide recommendations Support month-end close, financial reporting, and operational analysis Review manufacturing processes including BOMs, routings, and inventory controls Assist with cycle counts, physical inventory, and inventory reserve analysis Prepare margin analysis and additional reporting for operations leadership Partner with cross-functional teams on cost savings and process improvement initiatives Support audit requests, internal controls, and ERP/system enhancements Preferred Qualifications for
Senior Cost Accountant:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance 5+ years of manufacturing cost accounting experience Strong understanding of inventory accounting and standard costing Experience supporting plant operations and manufacturing leadership ERP system experience and advanced Excel skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment Process improvement mindset with strong analytical skills preferred #
