$62,500•$75,000 per year Job Details•We are seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant with 2-3 years of accounting experience and a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. This individual will support the day-to-day accounting operations by managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, journal entries, account reconciliations, and assisting with the month-end close process. The ideal candidate is organized, eager to learn, and thrives in a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities:
Process accounts payable invoices and ensure timely vendor payments Manage accounts receivable, including invoicing, cash applications, and collections follow-up Prepare and post daily, weekly, and monthly journal entries Assist with month-end and year-end close activities Reconcile bank accounts, balance sheet accounts, and general ledger accounts Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation Assist with financial reporting and variance analysis Support internal and external audits by providing requested documentation Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and GAAP Participate in process improvement initiatives and other accounting projects as assigned
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required 2-3 years of accounting experience Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, journal entries, and reconciliations Understanding of GAAP and general accounting principles Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel Experience with an ERP system such as NetSuite, Sage Intacct, Microsoft Dynamics, SAP, Oracle, or similar is preferred Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience assisting with month-end close Exposure to financial statement preparation The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys working with numbers, takes pride in producing accurate work, and is looking to grow their accounting career.
