They design, manufacture and market orthopedic reconstructive products; sports medicine, biologics, extremities and trauma products. Their products and solutions help treat patients suffering from disorders of, or injuries to, bones, joints or supporting soft tissues. Alongside some of the world's top healthcare professionals, they help deliver new possibilities to patients. Job Overview The Senior Accountant will play a vital role in supporting the finance team's mission to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting to facilitate the decision-making of key internal and external stakeholders. Essential Responsibilities and Duties
  • Conduct month-end close processes, including journal entries, balance sheet account reconciliations, and financial statement analysis.
  • Support the quarterly reviews and year-end audit with the independent auditors.
  • Perform research and analytical review on significant transactions.
  • Has a strong ability and interest to assess problem situations to identify causes, gather and process relevant information, generate possible solutions, and make recommendations and/or resolve the problem.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary financial information and provide guidance on accounting-related matters.
  • Ad-hoc accounting related projects. Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance; master's in accounting/CPA preferred
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy and organizational skills
  • Positive and helpful attitude, along with commitment to process improvements
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Minimum 5-7 years' experience in accounting roles
  • Proficiency in large accounting software (SAP or similar ERP experience) and advanced MS Excel skills.
Pay:
Up to $42.00 per hour
