Senior Accountant Ledgent Finance & Accounting - 4.0 Englewood, CO Job Details Full-time | Contract $34.50 - $37.50 an hour 14 hours ago Qualifications Accounting systems Financial close processing ERP systems Bachelor's degree GAAP Excel data analysis Full Job Description Our client, a well-established financial services firm in the Denver Tech Center, is looking to add a Senior Accountant to their growing team. This is a hands-on role with strong exposure across the full accounting cycle, working closely with leadership in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to deepen their technical accounting skills, gain visibility, and play a key role in maintaining accurate financials. Key Responsibilities Own key parts of the month-end and year-end close process Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reports Analyze financial results and provide variance explanations Support financial statement preparation in accordance with GAAP Work within a specific ERP system to manage and maintain accurate financial data Assist with audit support and coordinate with external auditors Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy Partner cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure proper reporting and controls Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 3-6+ years of accounting experience (financial services experience preferred) Strong understanding of GAAP and month-end close processes Experience working within an ERP system (experience with a large/structured ERP preferred) Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, data analysis) Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, national origin, age, ancestry, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, disability, medical condition, genetic information, pregnancy, or military or veteran status.
