Job Description

Century Group is in search of an experienced Internal Audit Staff Accountant to join a team in DTC. Qualified candidates with 1+ years of accounting experience are encouraged to apply. Local candidates only. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary $70,000 to $80,000 per year.
Job Description:
Execute and communicate assigned audit engagements with other Internal Audit members or consultants. Participate in SOX testing, execution of the internal audit plan. Assign audit engagements that are of moderate complexity. Interface with all levels of management and work collaboratively with Accounting, Operations, and the company's external auditors Evaluate organization's financial reporting, operational and IT controls. Evaluate audit results with Corporate Accounting to resolve any internal deficiencies.
Requirements:
Bachelors in Accounting. 2-5 years of public accounting, financial reporting, or internal audit experience Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel and ERP system skills. Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills. Able to communicate with professionals at all levels. Able to work independently and take initiative. Able to adapt to changing priorities.
