This role offers strong visibility across operations and finance, with direct impact on financial performance, process improvement, and business decision-making. If you enjoy digging into data, partnering with operations, and elevating accounting processes, this is an opportunity to step into a role where your work truly matters. This position is paying $75-$85k depending on experience What You'll Do Own key components of the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process for assigned business units, ensuring accuracy and timeliness Analyze cost of goods sold, margins, and manufacturing variances, identifying insights and trends to support operational performance Partner with operations to review inventory valuation, cost structures, and production activity, ensuring compliance with accounting standards Monitor and analyze inventory transactions, including production, adjustments, scrap, and rework Support and refine standard costing models, including annual updates and variance analysis Prepare and post journal entries, along with thorough balance sheet reconciliations and issue resolution Assist in the preparation of financial statements and management reports for business leadership Serve as a key contact during external audits, providing supporting documentation and analysis Manage fixed assets, including capitalization, depreciation, and lifecycle tracking Contribute to capital spend tracking, forecasting, and project reporting Support process improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing accuracy, efficiency, and internal controls Collaborate cross-functionally and provide guidance to junior team members as needed What You Bring Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance 3-5+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally within manufacturing or a product-based environment Strong knowledge of inventory accounting, standard costing, and fixed assets Experience working with ERP systems (mid-to-large platforms preferred) Advanced Excel skills (data analysis, pivot tables, lookups, etc.) Proven ability to analyze data, identify trends, and communicate insights clearly Experience supporting audits and financial reporting requirements Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities Self-starter mindset with a passion for continuous improvement and process optimization All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, national origin, age, ancestry, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, disability, medical condition, genetic information, pregnancy, or military or veteran status.
