Essential Job Responsibilities and Duties:
Prepares and post journal entries as requiredReconciles all balance sheets and various expense accountsAssist in the end-of-month closing process as requiredAssist other properties with accounting processes as requiredBalances intercompany accountsCreates financial, consolidated financial and non-financial reports in Report WriterEnsures that all regulatory requirements are met for federal and state regulatory agenciesEstablishes and ensures internal control procedures and structures to safeguard company assetsAids managers in the preparation of annual budgets for supervised departments, monthly cash flow analyses and periodic financial reports.
Skills, Education and Other Requirements:
B.A. in Accounting or related fieldExcellent communication skillsSignificant proficiency in MS ExcelHighly motivated, able to meet deadlines and work with little supervisionKnowledge of Great Plains accounting, Report Writer Excel and database knowledge preferredAttention to detail and ability to work with large amounts of dataAbility to obtain a Colorado Gaming LicenseIdentification that establishes identityIdentification that establishes the right to work in the United States
