Staff Accountant

Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team. This position is primarily auditing and tax preparation, with bookkeeping and payroll services as needed. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles and proficiency in financial analysis. Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting or previous experience in public accounting
• Experience with Microsoft Office Products
• Ability to organize, manage multiple tasks, and complete tasks Responsibilities
• Auditing
• Prepare year-end financial statements
• Prepare income tax returns from clients' accounting records
• Assist in financial statement preparation following GAAP guidelines
• Prepare payrolls, payroll tax returns, and sales tax returns
• Assist bookkeeping staff as needed Skills
• Proficiency in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and account reconciliation
• Strong knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)
• Experience with payroll processing and financial accounting
