Job Description
Job Summary Our local CPA firm is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our professional team. In this role, you will work directly with CPAs and senior accountants to provide comprehensive accounting, bookkeeping, and tax services for our diverse portfolio of small business and individual clients. We are looking for a dependable and motivated professional who values client service, accuracy, and teamwork. Responsibilities Prepare individual, partnership, corporate and nonprofit tax returns. Assist with bookkeeping and payroll processing. Reconcile bank and general ledger accounts. Work with QuickBooks and other accounting and tax software. Communicate professionally with clients and team members. Assist with special accounting and tax projects as assigned. Maintain strict confidentiality regarding all client and firm information. Qualifications Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred. Strong attention to detail and organization skills. Knowledge of tax preparation and accounting principals. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and computer application. QuickBooks experience is a plus, but not required. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
