Job Description:
Position Overview Lead the annual budgeting process and long-range financial planning, aligning investment priorities with overall business strategy. Drive financial performance across the organization, with accountability for revenue growth, profitability, and working capital efficiency. Partner to address complex operational, financial, and business challenges. Prepare and present financial statements, forecasts, and detailed variance analyses versus budget, outlook, and prior-year results. Lead due diligence on possible acquisition, divestiture, and merger opportunities. Partner with commercial teams to advance key customer relationships and achieve market expansion. Partner cross functionally to drive improvements to the product life cycle planning and R D investment strategy Direct special studies and analysis concerning economic and financial implications of existing and planned company products and facilities. Establish and monitor accounting policies, programs, and methods applicable to cost and inventory accounting and ensure that proper standard costs and inventory systems are maintained by plant accounting personnel. Oversee revenue recognition, margin reporting, and statutory compliance, ensuring adherence to US GAAP and applicable local accounting standards. Direct monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close activities, including consolidation, system updates, and reporting deliverables. Ensure compliance with SOX requirements and lead coordination with internal and external auditors. Own finance systems and ERP strategy, ensuring tools, data, and processes support both near-term execution and long-term scalability. Support global subsidiaries to work through issues related to the business or financial matters. Manage, mentor, and develop the team, fostering strong performance and cross-functional collaboration. Qualifications & Experience Extensive accounting and finance experience, including people leadership responsibilities. Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting required; advanced degrees or professional certifications (MBA, CPA, CMA) preferred. Deep understanding of US GAAP and financial reporting requirements. Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in a matrixed, global environment. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to translate financial data into actionable insights. Proficiency with financial and business systems.
