This position offers the opportunity to work with a diverse client base, including closely held businesses, individuals, nonprofit organizations, trusts, and estates. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of public accounting experience and a strong foundation in tax preparation and/or financial statement engagements. Primary Responsibilities Prepare business, individual, trust, and nonprofit tax returns Prepare financial statements and related workpapers Perform account reconciliations and general ledger analysis Assist with audits, reviews, and compilations Prepare adjusting journal entries and financial reporting schedules Communicate with clients regarding accounting and tax matters Research accounting and tax issues as needed Collaborate with partners and senior staff on client engagements Assist with special projects and firm initiatives Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field 3-5 years of public accounting experience Experience preparing tax returns and/or financial statements Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines Preferred Qualifications CPA license or progress toward CPA certification Experience with nonprofit organizations and related reporting requirements Experience with CCH ProSystem fx/Axcess Tax and Engagement Experience with QuickBooks Online and/or QuickBooks Desktop QuickBooks Pro Advisor Certification Experience with audits, reviews, and compilations Benefits include: Competitive compensation based on experience and qualifications Health, retirement, life insurance, and other employee benefit programs Paid time off and paid holidays Firm-paid continuing professional education (CPE), professional licenses, and dues Flexible work arrangements Reduced summer hours program Professional development and advancement opportunities Supportive team-oriented culture
