Shelton, CT Target Compensation:
70k – 110k depending on experience Overview Our client is seeking Senior Staff Accountant to join a real estate organization in Shelton ASAP! This role is heavily focused on cash management, treasury operations, and reconciliations, supporting both corporate and title-related activities. The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Key Responsibilities Perform monthly 3-way bank reconciliations , including escrow/title-related accounts Prepare and process weekly journal entries and batch postings in Dynamics GP (or similar ERP) Create journal entry support in Excel , including building batch files for system upload Manage ACH and wire transactions , including: Uploading ACH batches Setting up wires and handling callbacks/verification Supporting payment approvals and treasury controls Work within internal Treasury/Cash Management systems to: Review transactions and entries Generate reports Monitor daily cash activity Support accounting and treasury functions for title and rental program operations Assist with month-end close processes and billing tied to reconciliations Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 2–5+ years of accounting experience (title, real estate, or treasury experience strongly preferred) Experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP preferred (or similar ERP with strong ability to learn quickly) Hands-on experience with: Bank reconciliations (3-way rec a plus) ACH, wires, and treasury operations Advanced proficiency in Excel (data manipulation, creating upload templates, reconciliations) Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities #
