Sr. Accountant

Senior AccountantWe are seeking a Senior Accountant to join an organization in Stamford, Connecticut. This role will support the close process, maintain general ledger accuracy, assist with financial reporting, and help improve accounting procedures within a collaborative finance team.

Responsibilities:

Support monthly and quarterly close activities, including journal entries and general ledger maintenancePrepare account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies across assigned balancesAssist with financial statements, reporting schedules, and variance analysisProvide ad hoc reporting and analysis to finance leadershipSupport improvements to accounting procedures, internal controls, and process efficiencyIdentify opportunities for workflow enhancements and automation
