Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Accountant to join a fast-growing travel technology company in Stamford, Connecticut. This role is ideal for an accounting specialist who wants broad exposure across finance, meaningful collaboration with business partners, and room to advance within a modern, team-oriented environment. The position offers the chance to contribute beyond core accounting work by supporting reporting, improving processes, and helping strengthen scalable financial operations.
Responsibilities:
  • Manage key parts of the monthly close process, including preparing journal entries, reviewing account activity, and completing reconciliations accurately and on schedule.
  • Compile financial reporting schedules and assist in the preparation of internal and external reporting deliverables.
  • Work closely with FP&A and other cross-functional partners to explain results, support planning needs, and improve financial visibility.
  • Support audit activities by organizing documentation, answering requests, and helping maintain strong accounting controls.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and contribute to initiatives that improve efficiency, automation, and scalability across accounting processes.
  • Reconcile general ledger accounts and banking activity, ensuring discrepancies are researched and resolved promptly.
  • Analyze financial data and account balances to help maintain accuracy and support informed business decisions.
