Responsibilities:
As a Senior Accountant, you will: Manage complex journal entries, advanced account reconciliations, and financial reporting schedules. Execute high-level routines and queries within the loan database. Oversee guarantee invoicing and reporting, adhering to loan accounting controls. Resolve intricate commitment and loan-related data issues. Respond to internal and external inquiries, including those from auditors.
Qualifications:
We're looking for candidates with: Bachelor's degree in Accounting. Four years of accounting experience, with a focus on loans. Previous experience in financial institutions is a plus. Strong understanding of financial and accounting principles (GAAP). Excellent organization, multitasking, and critical thinking skills. High attention to detail and accuracy in maintaining financial records. Proficiency in general ledger and sub-ledger systems, along with advanced Excel skills. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Ability to independently gather, consolidate, and analyze accounting data. Strong team and collaboration skills.
