Job Description
Description We are seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team in Washington, DC. This individual will be responsible for supporting day-to-day accounting functions, maintaining accurate financial records, and assisting with month-end close processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting fundamentals and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. + Prepare and post journal entries, ensuring accuracy of debits and credits + Assist with month-end and year-end close processes + Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies + Maintain general ledger and ensure accurate financial reporting + Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions as needed + Assist with financial audits and provide documentation as requested + Ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures Requirements + 3+ years of Staff Accountant experience + Experience with debits and credits + Bachelor's degree in any field required + Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 is a plus + Non-profit experience is a plus + Strong attention to detail and organizational skills + Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities All interested applicants please reply to me directly via LinkedIn - Casey Kendall Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
