We are looking for a detail-oriented AR/AP Accountant to manage our full-cycle financial transactions. You will be responsible for everything from invoicing clients and tracking collections to processing vendor payments and reconciling accounts. High SchoolResponsibilitiesKey Responsibilities Accounts Payable (AP): Process, verify, and reconcile vendor invoices. Set up weekly payment runs (ACH, wires, checks) and resolve billing discrepancies. Accounts Receivable (AR): Generate and send client invoices, apply incoming payments accurately, and actively manage collections on overdue accounts. Reconciliations:
Perform monthly bank, credit card, and vendor statement reconciliations to ensure general ledger accuracy. Data & Compliance:
Maintain precise digital accounting records, assist with month-end closing procedures, and issue Form 1099s annually. Minimum Requirements:
Education:
Bachelor s or Associate s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent working experience). Experience:
2-4 years of dedicated AR/AP or general bookkeeping experience. Software Skills:
strong proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, or Xero) and intermediate Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables). Attention to Detail:
High accuracy in data entry and a sharp eye for identifying mathematical or systemic errors. Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with automated expense management tools (like Bill.com or Concur). Prior experience navigating month-end or year-end closing cycles.
