The ideal candidate will have strong general ledger experience, excellent reconciliation skills, and the ability to work independently while managing accounting functions for multiple entities. Excellent communication skills combined with a solid understanding of accrual accounting, journal entries, bank reconciliations, and general ledger management. Construction industry experience is a plus. Key Responsibilities Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts. Prepare journal entries and supporting schedules. Perform monthly bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies. Manage accounting activities for multiple entities and ensure accurate financial reporting. Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes. Reconcile balance sheet accounts and investigate variances. Prepare financial statements and management reports. Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions as needed. Maintain organized financial records and documentation. Assist with audits and provide requested information. Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards. Qualifications Minimum 5 years of accounting experience. Strong general ledger and account reconciliation experience. Experience performing monthly bank reconciliations. Experience managing accounting for multiple entities. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. High level of accuracy and attention to detail. Accounts receivable / payable for multiple entities Proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Required experience with QuickBooks, Yardi, and Microsoft Excel. Budgetrac experience preferred. - Will Train. Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Construction and or real estate development industry accounting experience is a plus. Preferred Experience Multi-entity accounting environment. Construction or real estate accounting. Accounts receivable / payable for multiple entities Job costing and project accounting experience is a plus. Key Attributes Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills.
