Job Description

Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our team in Bonita Springs, Florida. This role is ideal for someone with extensive experience in managing financial records, ensuring compliance, and streamlining accounting processes. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial reporting and supporting the organization's overall financial health.
Responsibilities:
  • Oversee month-end close procedures to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
  • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts to ensure data integrity.
  • Prepare and post journal entries, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
  • Conduct account reconciliations to verify and resolve discrepancies.
  • Handle bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow activities.
  • Analyze financial data using advanced Excel formulas to support reporting and decision-making.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to improve accounting processes and systems.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Provide support during audits by preparing necessary documentation and reports.
  • Review and refine financial reports for management and stakeholders. Requirements
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or finance roles.
  • Proficiency in month-end close processes and general ledger management.
  • Expertise in preparing journal entries and performing account reconciliations.
  • Strong knowledge of bank reconciliation procedures.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including creating and working with formulas.
  • Familiarity with accounting standards and regulations.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
